Additional data was collected from U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) publications. The temperature point file was then used to generate a raster using the 3D analyst tool natural neighbor. Subsequent to generating the raster image, the raster surface tool was used to contour the data from the raster interpolation. Some manual editing was performed to ensure contour lines honor data point values and that the contour lines do not cross.
