The boundaries in this data set are from a 1:24,000 scale data set obtained from the Missouri Spatial Data Information Service (MSDIS). The shapefile contains image acquisition dates for the digital orthophotograph quarter quadrangles produced for Missouri between 2007 and 2009.
This data set was created to provide image acquisition date information for the digital orthophotograph quarter quadrangles produced for Missouri between 2007 and 2009.
The metadata content associated with this data set was reviewed by Jeff Schloss on 20080725. The metadata content review is intended to ensure that all of the required content is present. This data set was created through a spatial join between the DOQQ_DATES shapefile published by the Missouri Spatial Data Information Service on 20040217 and a shapefile with filenames and image acquisition dates provided by Surdex Corporation. Values from the Surdex shapefile were calculated into the appropriate fields and all other attributes were deleted. Polygons and attributes were added for those quarter quads where imagery was acquired but were not included in the DOQQ_DATES shapefile.
