IS, US, MO, and RT designated travelways originated from 1980-DIME data, which was later updated with 1995 TIGER files from the US Census Bureau. Currently the feature class is updated approximately quarterly utilizing design plans, GPS, aerial imagery and county/city maps. All Census related fields have been removed, as they are not utilized nor updated by MoDOT. As of January 2006, all state route linework was matched to NAIP 2005 imagery.
Although all data in this data set have been compiled by the Missouri Department of Transportation, no warranty, expressed or implied, is made by the department as to the accuracy of the data and related materials.
